Walnut Flax Crackers


Add essential nutrients to your snack time. This raw vegan recipe combines walnuts, zucchini and golden flax seed in a more healthful cracker.
This recipe provides the following essential nutrients: vitamins B6, E; manganese, copper, phosphorous, and folic acid.

1 1/4 cup Walnuts, soaked in water for 30 minutes, then drained and rinsed

1 1/4 cup zucchini, roughly chopped

1/4 cup Golden Flax seeds, ground 1/8 cup raw Sesame seeds

3/4 tsp sea salt

Splash of water as needed

Instructions
1. In food processor add soaked, rinsed walnuts and grind til crumbly. Remove nuts to another large bowl and set aside
2. Place roughly chopped Zucchini into same processor (no need to rinse out walnut residue) Blend Zucchini til blended well
3. Place all ingredients into the same large bowl as the Walnuts. Stir to combine, adding a small amount of water if needed, to make a sticky, muffin like batter
4.Spread batter evenly onto Dehydrator non-stick sheet. Dehydrate for 6-8 hours (or overnight) Once top of batter is dry, take out of dehydrator and carefully flip tray over, onto another tray and peel off the non-stick sheet. Put crackers, on mesh tray, back into the dehydrator and dry for a couple more hours
5. When dry, cut into little squares and put back into the dehydrator for a bit to completely dry
6. Serve and store in a non humid environment
