Flax seed crackers get a spicy twist with paprika, red & black pepper and sea salt in this raw vegan recipe.

This recipe provides the following essential nutrients: vitamins A, B6, K1; biotin, potassium, lutein (an antioxidant), and alpha/beta carotene.

Special Equipment

  • 1 1/4 cup dried flax seed (soaked for 8 hours)

  • 1/2 cup carrot juice

  • 1/2 cup carrot pulp

  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • High Speed Blender

  • Dehydrator

  1. Add all ingredients to blender (use a bread blade if possible)

  2. Blend on high for 2-3 minutes or until well mixed

  3. Spread mixture onto dehydrator tray, cut spread into desirable pieces

  4. Place into dehydrator for at least 24 hours
