Rejuvelac

Colonize your stomach with friendly, healthy bacteria from enzymatic water with this raw Rejuvelac recipe.
This recipe provides the following essential nutrients : Vitamins C, E, K, and the entire B complex family. It also contributes protein, carbohydrates, phosphates, and digestive enzymes as well as the healthy gastrointestinal bacteria lactobacillus.

1 1/4 cup seeds ( your choice of either quinoa, wheat, buckwheat, kamut, millet or integral oat

Fresh water

Pint sized canning jar

Cheese cloth

Rubber Bands
Instructions

Pour the seeds into jar and fill with water; let sit for 8 hours then filter water out

Put cheesecloth over top of jar secured with a rubber band; sit upside down so seeds don't sit in still water

Let sit until seeds germinate (normally 2-3 days), rinsing the seeds with water 3 times a day

Once germinated, fill with water and let sit for 2-3 days, or until gas bubbles form

Strain water into a clean jar and store in fridge for no more than 3 days
