Nutella


This vegan hazelnut spread is a fantastic, flavorful alternative to the famous commercial product.

Ingredients

½ cup hazelnuts

1 cup water
-
2 cups of dates
-
¼ cup raw carob powder (or raw cacao powder)

1 tsp vanilla powder
Instructions
To Make it in a Blender:

In a blender, mix hazelnuts and water.

Add dates and vanilla powder and mix them into a thick cream.

Transfer to a bowl and add carob powder. Mix well.
To Make it in a Food Processor:

In a food processor mix hazelnuts into a hazelnut butter (mix for 5-10 minutes until a butter starts to form, be patient). Transfer it to a bowl.

Mix dates until they almost start to stick together into a ball. Gradually add water and stir until a thick cream forms.

Add vanilla powder, carob powder and hazelnut butter and mix well.
Note
Add a bit of almond milk if you would like your Nutella creamier.
